If you have pets (and/or children) and a number of high traffic areas on your home, the ProHeat 2X Pet Deep Cleaner is THE BEST! After contemplating whether to hire a professional carpet cleaning service or purchase a carpet cleaning machine, we're glad we chose the ProHeat 2x. Our carpets are old (and a cream color) and up until the other day, were badly stained. We were astonished at how well this machine cleaned our carpets! If you have light colored carpets and have heavy traffic areas in your home, this machine does a great job. The ProHeat 2X Pet is simple to assemble and easy to use. The heated water together with the cleaning solution makes all the difference. A couple of side notes that we believe you should be aware of, however, nothing to be concerned about, because we believe the investment is well worth it. Depending upon how soiled your carpets are, be prepared to emply the dirty water frequentlyand refill the solution tank. Also, suggest purchasing an extra bottle of cleaning solution. Either the professional strength or the pet solution works great. For us, the little extra effort far outweighed the results.

This is the best home steam cleaner I have ever used. It paid for itself the very first time I used it.
One comment - make sure that all openings and filters are clean before using. I used it to soak up water from a leaky roof that soaked a carpet, without being able to vaccuum first, and clogged up many of the filters, then wondered why it would not work correctly the next time I used it to clean. Once the filters and openings were cleared, it worked like a charm again.

I have 2 small children and 2 older dogs. I am impressed with this cleaner. I swept my carpet twice before using the cleaner and I could still build another dog with the hair it collected! The carpet looks clean, smells wonderful, fluffy, and I no longer have to worry about my children laying on it. Although it has many pieces to clean, it was easy to do. I would have liked the heater to make the water a little warmer though. The pet attachment is awesome and will be used often in my house! I would recommend this cleaner to anyone with pets or children.

This Carpet Cleaner saved my LIFE. I have a toddler.. a VERY MESSY toddler.. and Light Grey Carpets. Upon finding out I was moving, I started freaking out over the carpet.. We have a german shepherd and many family dogs that come to visit frequently, including a huge mix that sheds like no ones business and a tiny chihuahua that you'd think would have been bald by now with how much WHITE hair he leaves behind on my dark colored rug. I had heard good things about this machine, but when we actually got it home and tried it, the results were unbelievable! I was shocked that our vacuum had left behind so much when we vacuum every day! We are trying to sell our house and this machine will REALLY help keep everything smelling nice and looking good as new. This may just make the difference in how quickly we're able to sell. Thank you for making a quality product. This thing actually measures up to the hype.
